2022 Ford Bronco Everglades

Introduced at the Chicago Auto Show on Thursday is the new 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades special edition – and yes, it includes a snorkel from the factory!

Arriving this summer, the new Everglades model (MSRP starting at $54,495) looks to be an even more capable Sasquatch with added equipment.  Starting with a four-door Black Diamond model equipped with the Mid Package trim content, the Sasquatch package, a molded-in-color hard top with a roof rack and crossbars, and with the 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost I-4 with a 10-speed automatic, Ford has added a few extras to increase its off-road bonafides.

Ford describes it as “an SUV born to breathe when the air gets thick and designed to press on when the trail turns others around.” Designed to wade through more than three feet of water, the new model is definitely muck friendly with the above-mentioned factory snorkel, giant 35-inch tires and an integrated 10,000-pound ZEON 10-S WARN® winch.

The new Bronco’s front and rear axles, transfer case, and transmission also offer raised vents for improved water fording. Combined, these design changes lead to water fording capability of 36.4 inches (up 33.5 inches from the Sasquatch).

The new Everglades edition also features unique squared front and rear wheel arches with matching Sasquatch-width fender flares, 17 inch painted alloy wheels, and graphics with Everglades topography.

The interior features easy to clean marine-grade vinyl seats and rubberized washout flooring – bring on the swamp!
