Iron Trap Garage YouTube Channel

Vintage hot rods have a special place in my heart. I’m not talking about the gussied-up fiberglass and billet monstrosities of the 90’s, or even the small block chevy powered rods of the 60’s with the chromed steelies and metal flake paint. No, I’m talking about post WWII style hot rods of the late 1940’s when hot rodding was in its infancy. The flathead powered rods that were cruising the streets in Los Angeles and racing on the surrounding dry lakebeds.

That gets us the point of this post. If you like vintage hot rods like me, then you should check out the Iron Trap Garage over on the YouTube. Matt and the other guys at Iron Trap Garage are just real hotrodders out there doing what they love and they aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. If you are also like me, and have gotten tired of the more polished (and somewhat unrealistic) car shows on TV, you should definitely check it out.

In addition to his work on the Iron Trap Garage, you can also catch Matt over on the Eastwood Company’s channel where he demos some of the Eastwood Company’s tools and does some pretty good how-to videos.
